As we get closer towards Easter, the memories of childhood come to mind when our moms and grandmothers would bake for hours traditional Polish pastries. As they prepared these wonderful goodies, the smell of freshly baked creations would swirl throughout the entire home. To many of us these are truly great memories that we remember from Poland, but to the new generations raised in the United States these traditions and memories are passed-on and taught by moms and grandmas. Lets face it, Polish people love to bake. Today, I wanted to present you with few great “baking tools” that should be in every home if you love to bake.
First, a digital scale is a must to ensure the right amount of ingredients is used.
Second, you need a solid and traditional MAKUTRA mixing bowl, which is used to mix your ingredients to make the baking dough.
Once you got all the ingredients measured and inside the MAKUTRA mixing bowl, you need a froth beater, a wooden utensil (kula do ucierania), and a rolling pin to turn everything into baking dough.
Now that you got the dough ready, it is time to pick the right baking tin. At Dom itp, we currently have 31 various baking tins and forms for you baking needs. Since Easter is just around the corner, I want to present the most sought after baking tins and forms.
Happy Baking!!!
