Since you might not be able to make the trip to downtown Chicago, we invite you to visit our internet store at www.domitp.com if you're out of state, or stop by our retail locations in Chicago and suburbs.
Just in time for Christmas, we have newly arrived products directly from Poland. Personally, I really like getting Christmas cards, especially the traditional ones. We have made available to you over 20 different Christmas cards, and many of them include a Christmas wafer (Polski opłatek).
Here in Chicago, a local radio station started playing Christmas music November 14, that's just too early for me. However, it is a Polish tradition to start playing Christmas carols on Christmas Eve, but many of us start a bit earlier just to get into the Christmas spirit. That's why nothing sounds better than a Polish Christmas carol or tune (pastorałka). At Dom itp, we have 4 CDs with the best Christmas music selected for you (Polskie kolędy i pastorałki).
One of the best Christmas traditions is the decorating of the Christmas tree. I know that some families have 2 Christmas trees, one for the entire family and the second for the kids to decorate as they wish. This gives you the opportunity to decorate the family Christmas tree in a more traditional way with lights and Polish Christmas ornaments, which will be the envy of your friends and family.
I love when my mom bakes. Polish moms and grandmas know how to bake and that's a fact. Christmas time is where their baking creations become reality. At Dom itp, we have many baking tins (blachy do pieczenia), tortolettes (tortownice), and cookie cutters (wykrawacze do ciasta) to help your mom or grandma, or even you.
If you wish to receive your products by Christmas Eve, please place your order by December 17, 2009.
